A month has passed from my last update...and it has definitely been a month for the records! I am going to try to recap (with help from my disjointed memory & handy-dandy planner) all that has happened...in bullet form! haha
-Matt had his only off-day, which we enjoyed relaxing, beaching up, and being bums :o)
-My dearest Lil P came to visit, which was such a wonderful time of laughter, sun, sun-burns (lol), eating, lounging, sleeping, prepping for her rage weekend in Miami :o)
-My dearest Krisie Poo and her man, Jason, came the day after Landz left, for a long weekend :o) Matt was so excited to have some man-time with a fellow penis, lol, and Krisie and I got lots of catch up girly time...long overdue from our last visit in September!
-My lesbian lovers Karla & Carli got to visit for a gorgeous beach day on Saturday, I was at this point on cloud 9 from seeing so many of my amazing friends :o)
-My parents came to visit for a quick stay, which was a lot of fun. My dad got to see our house and of course gushed about it forever. and still is. They took my boys back with them to Tallahassee to help the transition process of moving/staying in hotels. Mom was thoroughly excited about some quality grandchildren time.
-went to some baseball games...get-togethers with my girls from the team. ya know, the usual ;o)
-got rear-ended from some young punk who didn't know that it is *always* the person's fault who rear-ends someone. thankfully my Pri-Pri did not suffer, although my neck was definitely feeling the wrath.
-passed out on Easter morning, that was fun. Going to doctor to figure that issue out soon, lol.
-began attempting to pack up our household for the second time in 6 weeks, into Matt's car, my car that was being shipped to MD, boxes that could go on moving truck to MD.
-drove to St. Petersburg with SUV jam-packed for first leg of trip. Season Opener vs. Rays...yippee!
-dropped Millie off at boarding for the first time, was like bringing child to first day of Kindergarten :o(
-enjoyed some pool-time at the Vinoy before haul up east coast.
-got to see Matt's mom and Lula at opening game, and Kaia got to join too! Lots of fun :o)
-Began 8 hour trek up to Atlanta on Wednesday, met mom in Valdosta, GA to exchange kitties. Got to see Ashley & Lindsey that night in Atlanta...too short of a stay!
-exhaustedly awoke Thursday morning to begin long leg of trip to Baltimore...11 hours later arrived to rental in pouring rain...which resulted in cute, little, historic rental becoming muddy, dirty, smelling like wet dog, and full of all our 98509285 bags of belongings. Thank God for Rebecca & Matt who helped me unload the car and joined me for a sustaining meal (not fast food!) and much needed beer.
-got to pick up Matt @ 3 AM from field that night, pretty much was a walking zombie.
-Matt left for field 7 hours later, I packed for trip to NY, jumped on train to the Big Apple.
-Arrived in NY to be with my incredible girlies in search of Carli's wedding dress @ Kleinfeld :o) Yummy dinner @ intimate Italian restaurant in Chelsea Friday night, off for Carz's amazing hair appt Saturday AM and then to Say Yes to the Dress!
-She found a GORGEOUS dress that is beyond perfect on her!!! yippppeeee! Celebration over dinner in MeatPacking District and then off to In the Heights on broadway...fabulous show :o)
-sadly back to reality on Sunday...slept on train back to Baltimore to come back to crazy pup and mess of a rental. Deep breaths!
-booked flight for Rebecca's wedding in May...dealt with Expedia customer service after mistake of booking 5:35 AM departure time...Shoot me.
-got to see Matt for 2 rushed days until he headed out for West Coast on Wednesday. Long 11 day road trip.
-tried to make sense of unpacking vs. not unpacking things in 3 week rental...decided to not unpack...live out of suitcases, not know where ANYTHING is...commence insane mode.
-ps. No cable.
-dinner/laundry date with Rebecca & Matt...ps. no WASHING MACHINE IN RENTAL.
-Trip to vet with Omaha & Ducky...healthy kitties yay!
-trial doggie day-care date for Millie at local boarder...she did really well so I am feeling comfortable in leaving her there :o)
-attempting to stay up to watch west coast games that start at 10 pm...not really succeeding.
-lunch/dinner dates with girls :o)
-trip up to Christina's for gab-fest/baby fix.
-dinner with Jess & Dan while they were in town house-hunting. Sooo good to see them and catch up!
-Walked in MD SPCA Walk for the Animals Sunday morning, Millie loved it a little bit too much. Baby Abby's 8 month Birthday!
-trying to get furniture rental in place.
-trying to get Comcast, electric, gas set up in new rental.
-trying to keep current rental clean...virtually impossible.
-ps. no garbage disposal, DISHWASHER...GAHHHHHH.
-toured next townhome rental, lots of space, thank God...very excited to move in.
-Millie has discovered digging holes in back patio planters. Joy.
-Millie cries every morning at 7 am on. Joy.
-Millie destroys 4th bed in crate. Joy.
-Omaha is becoming much more brave and venturing down to Millie's level...Millie super excited...tries to paw his face. Omaha not happy.
-Matt does not wake up until 12-1 pm. Joy.
-problems with seller/house in FL. Joy.
-American Idol party at Liz's house...baby Abby fix. Dinner/wine with girls. Joy :o)
-it is supposed to rain today= muddy Millie, house a wreck, smells like wet dog, JOY!
Phew, I think I covered the bulk of things :o) I'm so glad I have finally been able to write because it helps put things in perspective, whereas I have felt like I am going crazy and my brain is falling out of my head! I miss and love you all, and I am so sorry that I have been out of touch over the past few weeks. Hopefully things will be clearing up in the next few weeks, I think that me being able to unpack everything and put it in designated spaces in the new rental will help alleviate my craziness.
I am super excited for Carli's engagement party this weekend, I am flying down to Miami on Friday :o) Luau here I come! heehee. I will return on Sunday and finally get to see the hubby after such a long time, looking forward to that as well :o) Until my next post, love you all and hope everyone is having a wonderful HUMP day!
